On Sunday, April 25, 2010 Sharon Fay Collier of South Slocan passed away at the age of 48 years.
Sharon was born in Ilford, England and came to Canada, settling in Nelson in 1977. She attended L.V.R.
After school, Sharon worked at various jobs, before working for Johnny's Bakery for 11 years, and working for Pacific Insight since Feb. 1997. She was an avid bowler, and was the team score keeper for her ball team for many years, and was an avid fan of the Vancouver Canucks. She loved to go camping, and her animals.
Sharon is survived by her partner James Gavin, daughter Amanda, parents Dave and Fay Collier, sisters Fran Collier, and Mary Anne ( Denis) Moreau, nephews Jeremy, Alex, Joe, Gabby, and Adrian. Along with many extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from Mary Hall from 2:00PM to 4:00PM.
Cremation has taken place. As an expresson of sympathy family and friends may make donations to the C.T. Scanner C/O Kootenay Hospital Foundation 3 View St., Nelson, B.C. V1L 2V1. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Thompson Funeral Service Ltd.
