Sadly the family announces that Dawn passed away September 3, 2010 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Our beloved mother and grandmother was
predeceased by her husband Cameron
Geddes. Dawn is survived by her daughter Kimberley (Darin) Condon and grandchildren Shelby Geddes and Taylor Condon.
Dawn was born in 1935 to Victor and Emily Jenks in Castlegar, B.C. She was the eldest of three children. She is survived by her brother Barry “Bud” Jenks and family and by her sister Anita (Wayne) Gray and family.
Dawn had an extensive teaching career with most of her highlights occurring in varied Northern Canadian locations. Dawn will be remembered for her amazing fortitude, tenacity and positive outlook. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
The Graveside Service was held on
Friday, September 10, 2010 at 2:30 p.m.
