October 14, 1946 - August 2, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley Rickard Gregory "Rick" Hahn on August 2, 2020 at the age of 73. Rick was the son of the late Jake and Hulda Hahn, born on October 14, 1946 in Yorkton, SK. Rick and family moved to Trail, BC in his teens.
Rick is survived by his children Brian (Jennifer) and Jennifer Cant (Chris), grandson Fergus, partner Corinne Gevatkoff, her daughter Stephanie (Aaron) and sister June (Jack) Crowe.
Rick was predeceased by his wife of 32 years Valarie (nee Kennedy). He was also predeceased by his parents, in-laws John and Marion Kennedy, sisters Helen Hahn, Sylvia (Don) Whyte and Barbara (Bruce) Hasselback.
He was a long-term member of the Masonic Lodge, an avid antique car enthusiast and retired from Cominco after a long trade as a pattern maker. Rick was also a firefighter for many years.
There will be no public service as per his wishes. Andreas Schmitz of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
