On Monday, March 30, Tamara (Tammy) Sherstobitoff passed away. She was born on May 10, 1969 to Willi and Shirley Sherstobitoff. She grew up in Ootischenia and was heavily involved in swimming and gymnastics.
She became an insurance agent and moved to Vancouver to work for the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. She then moved on to various other insurance companies in Vancouver.
After living in the Lower Mainland for 18 years, she decided to move back to the West Kootenay's to be closer to family. She was able to purchase a trailer and moved it onto her parents property where she lived with her beloved cat 'Lucas.'
She worked at BCAA and RHC Insurance in Nelson and then finally at HG Insurance Agency in Slocan Park. Tammy was a fabulous artist and loved to paint, do crafts and play golf.
Tammy is predeceased by your Mom - Shirley. She is survived by her Dad - Willi and her brother Curtis, Sister In-law Sue Heaton and her 2 nieces Jordan and Sydney Sherstobitoff.
Tammy was loved by many and will be missed. There will be no service.
