It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Valerie Jean Logan. Valerie passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 18, 2013 with family by her side, in Kelowna BC, at the age of 53.
Valerie was born in Nelson BC, on July 10, 1960, to parents Sid and Carmel Willford. In 1983 she married Charles Logan and resided in Nelson BC where they raised their son.
Valerie enjoyed knitting, quilting, sewing, volunteering in the community and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by daughter Lori. Left to mourn her loss is her loving husband of 30 years Charles, son Corey (Celia), grandchildren Austin and Jaxson, parents Sid and Carmel and brothers and sisters Brad (Rosie), Donna (Ed), Cheryl (John) and Brenda (Jeff).
A Celebration of Life was held for close family and friends in Winlaw on Saturday, August 24, 2013. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to BC Heart and
Stroke Foundation.
