Walter Stoushnow passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 after a long hard fought battle with cancer at the age of 74 years.
Walter was born to Fred and Mary Stoushnow in Rossland, BC. He grew up in Robson, BC and went on to Calgary AB to pursue further education and work. Calgary is where he started a family and eventually met the "Love of his life". He is survived by his loving wife Martha and his two children, Troy Stoushnow and Tracy Fong followed by his grandchildren Hunter, Sage, and Nixon. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by all who knew him including his family in BC. He is remembered as being "quick as a whip", and good at everything he did! He loved the outdoors which included hunting, fishing and camping.
