Wendy Kathleen
(nee Wayling) was born in Creston, BC on October 23, 1952 and passed away on July 20, 2012 in Trail.
She is survived by her husband Bob; children Michael, Sydne and Richard Smith; mother Judy Wayling; siblings Vicki, Rand, Kirby, Kent and families; step children Heather, Erin, Tracey and Kent Smith as well as the Scott and Lafreniere families.
She is predeceased by her father Dick Wayling and her infant brother Mark.
Wendy spent 30 years in the radiology field in the Castlegar and Trail hospitals. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her enjoyment came from ballroom dancing, crafts, spending time with her family, camping, hiking, berry picking, making everyone’s’ favourite snacks and taking in strays.
A Memorial service will be held at the LDS Church
in Trail on Wednesday, July 25th, 2012 at 11:00am.
