With his loving wife of 39 years at his side, Billy passed away Sept 22, 2018 after a yearlong battle with cancer.
William (Billy) Hadikin was born July 1949 in Trail, BC. He graduated from Stanley Humphries Secondary School in Castlegar BC, eventually completing his studies at BCIT in the fields of Electrical and Electronics along with Civil and Structural Technology.
His work and love of travel took him across Canada and overseas to Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Beirut and a few others. He continued his travels around the world with his wife on their vacation cruises.
Billy retired to the Sooke area and finished his career as the Emergency Operations Manager with the district. He is remembered by his family, friends and grandson Colton.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date as cremation has already taken place.
