William Joseph Elder of Castlegar, peacefully passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, blessed with 80 years of life.
He was born in Trail on December 21, 1930 and spent his working life working at Cominco from July 8, 1949 until he retired on January 7, 1992. Bill’s great joy was watching Westerns and Action Movies on television.
He was predeceased by his sister Georgina Bradshaw.
Bill is survived by 3 nephews living on the lower mainland.
Cremation has taken place under the care of
Castlegar Funeral Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the
Stellar Place Club House at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 13, 2011.
