Concerns about city council shared

In this city there are many other projects the taxpayers’ money could be used for.

I agree with John Phillips’ letter in the Castlegar News (August 21).

The City Council has found another waste money project to go along with coloured sidewalks, painting walls and coloured lights under overpasses that drivers will not see if they are paying attention to their driving.

In this city there are many other projects the taxpayers’ money could be used for. We need many potholes filled (my car seems to find them all) and Castlegar needs cameras on its traffic lights. I have been told the city cannot afford them.

I am not the only one who says Castlegar needs a totally new council.
