On behalf of the Castlegar Hospice Society, I am pleased to announce that Executive Director Suzanne Lehbauer has been awarded the 2014 BC Hospice Palliative Care Association & Sovereign Order of St John of Jerusalem Award Recognizing Enhanced End-of-Life Care for all British Columbians. The award has been given for a Grief Drop-In Support program developed by Ms. Lehbauer.
Ms. Lehbauer has previously won the award in 2009 and 2012 and Castlegar was the first rural community to win the award.
Please join me in congratulating Suzanne for the recognition of hospice palliative care in our community and region.
