The #ChrissySentMe movement spread so quickly throughout the world as a whole, unifying a revolution of acts of charity in towns, counties, cities, provinces and states.

It was inspiring to see the devastation felt by our small town transcend into something so beautiful in honour of the soul that was held in Chrissy Archibald.

Our small ripple in the waters of people wanting to spread good to one another was made when we created our “#ChrissySentMe” decals; available by a donation of money or food.

We were blown away by the number of people who came on the first day of availability to receive decals, donate, and talk about the cause.

We chose to donate all proceeds to our local community harvest food bank, as well as the New Life Assembly Church youth group, as both organizations have impacted our lives in one way or another.

The decals were designed, distributed and managed by HTR employee Faith Jackson, (the mind behind the idea,) with the help up by coworker Pamala DeRosa, and boss Justin Evin. We would also like to extend out thanks to Lorne and Lorraine of L&L Bakery for reaching out to us to set up a donation box area in their shop, with decals for distribution.

Thank you to everyone who donated. We are so appreciative of the support we received,

Pamala DeRosa
