To the Editor: MAGIC
I want to share with your readers my utter JOY to be living in Castlegar.
We are heading into a season of magic, I think.
First, the fireworks on Saturday of Sunfest were the best ever, so many new spectacular explosions of light and colour. The mountains surrounding the valley echoed after each one.
Second, the concerts in Kinnaird Park are starting again every Wednesday until the end of August. There are lots of wonderfully talented, professional musicians who come to entertain us each week. And it’s by donation if you can afford it.
What a lovely way to spend a summer evening.
Sure would love to see more people participating in that.
And, finally, the opportunity to wrap up a picnic or a book and spend a lovely sunny day at the Millennium or water parks watching families enjoying the water, running, swimming and making sandcastles. It is so beautiful there.
Come on out, Castlegar, and enjoy the magic.
