I wish to thank the city council and city workers for improving the bike lane network in Castlegar. Both the designated lanes and the implementation of “share the road” signs make riding a bike safer.
I hope that vehicle drivers will share the road, and that riders will follow the rules of the road and realize that getting tangled with a motor vehicle will not have a good outcome. Let’s all be polite, patient, and be environmentally conscientious.
