I haven’t lived in this area long but I have nothing but praise for the experiences I’ve had at the Urgent & Primary Care Unit. I have visited twice for things I would normally talk to a family doctor about. The staff has gone out of their way to answer my questions and make suggestions as to how to work around not having a doctor here.
A third visit happened years before we moved here. My husband had a minor scalp cut that needed stitches — yes, we had to wait while urgent cases went through but he was in no danger. It was a minor inconvenience, unfortunately first day of our visit from Manitoba that summer almost five years ago.
