We would like to thank the kindness of Selkirk College for accepting the evacuees from the wildfires that swept through our area.
It was with great appreciation they accepted us to stay at the Selkirk College Dorms when no one else wanted to accept evacuees with pets. Several evacuees from Silverton and Slocan stayed at the dorms. It was heart warming to see all the kindness of everyone involved.
