A boat excursion up Lower Arrow Lake provided a lovely setting for a picnic.
Eva is about to strain her coffee, Ruth is holding her sandwich, Dr. McDiarmid is holding the coffee filter, Charles and Eleanor are comfortably settled beside the prow of the boat, and an unidentified friend completes the happy group.
The men seem to be savouring their new-found freedom.
