Construction of the High Arrow Dam displaced the Kline family from their lovely estate property on Lower Arrow Lake. Ornamental plants from the extensive gardens were relocated to the brand-new campus of Selkirk College where they still thrive today. A large boulder just below today’s Broadwater Road once provided anchorage to the goldfish pond at the upper end of the property. (Walter Volovsek)
