Castlegar Figure Skating Club enjoyed another fun year

Formal Skate Canada testing still on the agenda for some

Figure skating season is wrapping up but a few girls were practicing Friday

A few Castlegar Figure Skating Club members  took to the ice at the Castlegar recreation centre on Friday, Mar. 8 for practice.

Formal testing in various levels of Skate Canada programs is still on the agenda for some members of the club.

The club participated in a number of events over the past year including the Kootenay Regional Championship in February.

A year-end wrap up event is is planned for April 7, said Kim Klashinsky, who was at the Castlegar complex on Sunday with her daughter.
