Al Cummings from Castlegar along with coach Ben Postmus from Fruitvale will be attending the Canadian Special Olympics Golf championships at the UBC course in Vancouver from Oct 2 - 6.
Cummings was named to Team BC along with nine others from around the province to compete at this years national championships.
40 Golfers from all provinces and the territories will be competing for the national title. Al was also selected for Team BC at the 2014 Canadian Special Olympics Summer Games in Vancouver next June.
