The Castlegar Rebels Hockey Society has launched a 50/50 jackpot to help bolster revenues in the wake of COVID-19.

Rebels vice president Mitch Rinas says the pandemic has severely affected the organization’s revenues.

“As a non-profit organization that is run by volunteers our ability to generate revenue is difficult,” explains Rinas.

Tickets for the 50/50 jackpot will be available until midnight on Feb. 21.

The draw will take place at 9 a.m. on Feb. 21 and the winner will take away half of the money collected.
