The Beaver Valley Nitehawks might be the hottest team in the KIJHL right now, while the Castlegar Rebels are coming off a big win over league leading Nelson.

The two teams face off tonight and tomorrow in a epic battle for what could turn out to be division supremacy, although the Leafs may still have a say in that.

Tonight (Friday), the teams play off in Fruitvale at the BV Arena at 7:30 p.m.. On Saturday, the teams play in Castlegar at the complex at 7:30 p.m.

The Rebels are led by the high octane first line of Stu Walton, Diego Walton and Jamie Vlanich. Defensively, Castlegar will have to figure out a way to stop BV's high scoring defenceman Nick Perez, who leads all KIJHL d-men with 38 points.

Currently, Beaver Valley trails Castlegar by four points in the Neil Murdoch division standings. Nelson is in first place with 50 points, two ahead of the Rebs.
