STARSkaters from the Castlegar Skating Club competed in their third competition of the season at the Kootenay Region Championships in Creston from Feb. 9 to 11.
Castlegar skaters reached the podium an impressive 11 times with Jordan Singer receiving a region award for her gold medal performance.
Also, congratulations to Sarah Cousins and Jordan Singer for receiving artistic awards for their free skate solo performances.
The Castlegar club is thrilled for skaters Jordan Singer, Allison Soukeroff and Zoey Crockart who earned spots on the Kootenay Region Team which will be competing at the Super Series STARSkate final in Kelowna in March.
Thank you to coaches Rachel Stewart and Alice Fischer-Albert for an outstanding season.
The club is now busy preparing for their annual Year End Show. All are welcome on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 4:30 – 6 p.m. at the Complex Arena as Canskaters, Juniors and STARSkaters present Legends in Time.
