Summer weather has finally arrived in the Kootenays and slo-pitch teams are taking to the fields.

The Mad Batters went up against the Heads Up team at the Castlegar Community Complex on Friday, May 3. Heads up won the game 15 - 12 but laughs outnumbered the total runs considerably.

Due to busy schedules and such, some members of the Mad Batters even played for the other side.
