Junior hoopsters start season in Trail tournament

J.L. Crowe of Trail is hosting six junior girls basketball teams this weekend at the school. In pool A are Crowe, Mount Baker from Cranbrook, and Grand Forks. Pool B features Rossland, Selkirk from Kimberley, and Stanley Humphries from Castlegar.

The tournament starts on Friday at 12 noon with the home team Hawks taking on Grand Forks. The final goes Saturday at 1 p.m.
