Just a few chances left to cheer on Castlegar basketball teams

A handful of home games and zone playoffs remain

The Stanley Humphries Secondary School basketball season is winding down, but there are still a few opportunities to cheer on the teams at home games.

On Wednesday, Feb. 15, the SHSS Junior Boys play Grand Forks at 4 p.m. and the Senior Boys play at 5:45 p.m.

The Kootenay Senior Boys AA Basketball Zones will be held at Castlegar’s high school on Feb. 24 - 25.

The SHSS Junior Boys play Rossland Summit School on Feb. 27 at 4 p.m. and Mount Sentinel on Feb. 28 at 4 p.m.

The Grade 8 boys play Rossland Summit School on March 1 at 4 p.m.

The girl’s teams still have a few games to go as well, but all of them are away games and the AA Senior Girls Zones will be held in Fernie Feb. 21.
