Killjoys upset Babes of Brutality in derby action at the Castlegar Complex

Killjoys defeated Babes of Brutality in West Kootenay roller derby action from Wednesday night.

The Killjoys from Nelson narrowly took this bout 120-118 upsetting the more experienced Babes of Brutality of Salmo. The roller derby game took place Wednesday in Castlegar.  This was the last bout of the regular season for both teams and it is possible that  these two teams will meet again in the playoffs which start August 25th.  There is one more double header on July 28th at the Castlegar Complex.

The West Kootenay Roller Derby League all-stars the Kootenay Kannibelles take on the Spokane Spokanibals on Saturday, July 21 at the Castlegar Complex.
