The Kootenay South rep girls soccer team finished second at a tournament this past weekend in Revelstoke. The team, which consists of players from Rossland, Trail, Fruitvale, and Castlegar, won three out of four games falling only to eventual champion Kamloops.

The girls beat Williams Lake 3-2, lost to Kamloops 4-2, beat Canmore, Alberta 3-1, and beat Golden 7-0. Sarah Pengelly picked up a hat-trick on Sunday for the team against Golden.
