Local curling rink competes at championships in Kelowna

Lui rink from Castlegar goes 1 for 4 in 60+ Interior Mixed Masters' Curling Championship

The Lui curling rink recently travelled to Kelowna to compete in the 60+ Interior Mixed Masters’ Curling Championship, representing the West Kootenays.

Although the trophy remains in Kelowna for the second straight year, all games were close and the competition was a positive experience for all participants.

The Lui rink would like to thank its team sponsor, Wine Kitz of Castlegar, the Castlegar Curling Club, Castlegar Masters’ Curling Club, Castlegar Golf Club and RV Park, the City of Castlegar, BCIMA and BCIMA Zone 1 for their support and encouragement.
