The Peter Lui rink from Castlegar will travel to Kelowna to take part in the BC Interior Mixed Masters Championship, March 11-13, 2013.
Verna Chernoff (lead), Lloyd Wood (second), Helga Skibinski (third) and Peter Lui recently won an exciting game over the Beattie rink from Grand Forks to earn a spot at the Kelowna competition.
Grand Forks jumped to an early lead but the Lui rink came back in the later ends. Lui's squad stole a point in the 8th end to tie the game and another in an extra end for the victory.
