North Okanagan Minor Hockey Association hosted a Pee Wee House tournament the weekend of January 27 – 29. Two Castlegar teams were entered. They met each other in a semifinal game that ended in a tie game and got settled with a six round shootout. Castlegar Mighty Mallards won this exciting game and went on to play Abbotsford for the finals. The final game saw great competitive hockey, with the Mighty Mallards taking home the silver medal after losing the final match 4 – 2.
