The Stanley Humphries Secondary School junior girls basketball team won an exciting overtime game against their Nelson rivals from L.V. Rogers 24-20 Wednesday at SHSS.

SHSS led most of the game, but Nelson made a strong comeback in the fourth quarter keyed by a three pointer from Annie Dergousoff late in the game to force overtime.

The Rockers, who were led by seven points from Rebecca Liszt and some key free throws down the stretch by Rachael teBulte, scored twice in the O.T. and held the Bombers scoreless with strong defence.

Dergousoff led LVR with 11 points.
