Local skateboarders took turns performing tricks on a half-pipe set up in the back of the Lion's Head Pub in Robson on Saturday. More than $1,200 was raised at the event for Sk8 Shoes 4Kids, which provides shoes and other equipment to less privileged kids in the Castlegar area.
Attendees also got to listen to several popular local dj's spin tunes.
