On Monday, April 23, Castlegar News U8 boys team defeated their counterparts from Zellstoff-Celgar 3-1 at Twin Rivers Park.
Castlegar minor soccer has 29 teams of players under 10 playing mini-soccer every Monday and Wednesday. In all, there are more than 400 kids playing both mini and youth soccer in Castlegar.
