Last weekend the Stanley Humphries girls basketball team went 0-3 in their own tournament at J.L. Crowe Secondary in Trail. The tournament was originally scheduled for SHSS but a fire (see relate story page 5) forced it to be relocated.

SHSS put up a good fight but ended up losing 38-51 versus Prince Charles Secondary School of Creston, 49-37 against Nakusp, and 58-32 to Selkirk of Invermere.

Nelson’s L.V. Rogers took first place at the tournament.
