West Kootenay Junior golfers concluded their season with their windup event on June 25 at Birchbank Golf Club.
The results of the event were as follows:
Nic Jenner of Castlegar finished in first place in the 13 and older age division shooting his junior circuit best round of 70.
Will Watt also of Castlegar finished in second place with a score of 81.
In the 12 and under age division Xander Bankes of Rossland shot 85 to win and complete his sweep of winning this age group in every event.
The Krahn brothers Austin and Mitchel from Christina Lake finished second and third respectively.
The team would like to thank all the players who competed this year for their participation and Zellstoff Celgar and BCGA Zone 1 West for their support of the West Kootenay Junior Golf Circuit, and all the local golf courses that hosted and allowed them to have an event.
