RDCK seeking input on the future of the Castlegar Community Complex

Regional district kicking off public consultation phase with local meetings

The Regional District of Central Kootenay is kicking off the public consultation phase of the Reimagining the Future of Recreation at the Castlegar and District Community Complex project with several public meetings.

Community meetings will be held throughout Castlegar and Areas I & J in late April and early May.

The intent of the community meetings are to:

• Inform residents about the consultation process and how it could lead to potential service enhancements,

• Describe how the engagement process will be completed,

• Share some information about the current state of recreation services in Castlegar and Areas I and J,

• Gather thoughts from community members on the future of recreation in Castlegar and Areas I and J.

Meeting dates:

April 22 — Glade Hall, 6:30 - 8 p.m.

April 24 — Pass Creek Hall, 6:30 - 8 p.m.

April 25 — Shoreacres Community Hall, 6:30 - 8 p.m.

April 29 — Brilliant Cultural Centre, 6:30 - 8 p.m.

April 30 — Castlegar and District Community Complex - Selkirk Room, 6 - 7:30 p.m.

May 1 — Robson Hall, 6 - 7:30 p.m.

May 9 — Tarry’s Hall, 6:30 - 8 p.m.
