Catherine Stewart died peacefully on February 23, 2024, after a short battle with cancer at the age of 85 with her family by her side.
Cathy was pre-deceased by her husband Dave and is survived by her loving children, Louise (Neil) David (Andrea) Laurie (Sam) Wayne (Wendy), 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Cathy worked at the Lions Head Pub cleaning for a number of years and enjoyed her time there. She belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star for 68 years, receiving her 25-year, 50-year and 60-year service pins. Cathy also served on the RVFD ladies auxiliary for 20 years and was a leader for the Brownies and Girl Guides of Canada.
Cathy loved the simple things in life, camping, gardening and especially her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and as per Cathy's wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of TRH for all their care, and all the well wishes to come.
