The Castlegar Skating Club concluded their regular season with a production of Rock On Ice featuring skaters from ages 3-17. Rock music from the 70s, 80s and 90s set the mood as skaters performed routines featuring the skills they learned throughout the season.
The Skating Club thanked the program assistants for their continued guidance and dedication to the CanSkate program. The coaches paid a special tribute to graduating skaters Jordan Singer, Zoe Snowdon, Everest Williams, and Layne Traczyk. CanSkater of the Year awards went to Ava Coombs and Ashton Hlookoff, who both showed tremendous improvements and positive attitude all season.
The evening concluded with soloists from the STARSkate program performing a program of their choice.
The club is thankful for all the volunteers who helped make the production happen, and to the executive for their guidance and support.
